Two people were killed due to a fatal speeding-related motor vehicle crash in Whittier on early Sunday morning, November 1.
The deadly accident occurred at the intersection of Norwalk and Beverly Blvd at approximately 3:31 a.m.
A black sedan, occupied by two men and two women, was reportedly speeding near Norwalk and Beverly boulevards’ intersection. The sedan lost control then struck several parked vehicles on Norwalk.
Two people were killed while two others were injured as a result of the crash. They were identified as 27-year-old Mayra Zarate and 28-year-old James Espinosa.
It is unclear whether they were occupants of the sedan. The two people that were injured were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Additional details about the accident are limited at the moment.
