Fatal injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle collision in Eureka on Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2024.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the crash happened around 1:43 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and I Street.

Authorities stated that several vehicles were involved in the crash. They considered this collision as fatal, and they have yet to identify the deceased people. The number of vehicles and individuals involved was not yet disclosed

It is unclear what caused the collision. Motorists are advised to avoid I street and use alternate routes while the officials continue their investigation.
