[04-06-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Nine Injured, Including Three Children, After Minivan Crash Near Santee Alley in Downtown LA

Nine people, including three children, sustained injuries after a minivan crashed into a structure along the sidewalk near Santee Alley in downtown Los Angeles’ fashion district on Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 300 block of East 12th Street near Santee Alley, a popular outdoor shopping area.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported all nine patients, including six adults and three children, to the hospital in fair condition.

Police confirmed that there was no indication of drugs, alcohol, or intentionality involved in the crash. No arrests have been made.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
