[07-29-2025] Fresno County, CA – Man Killed After Excavator Flips at Construction Site Near Tollhouse And Newmark Rd.

A 35-year-old man was killed after an excavator flipped over at a construction site in Fresno County on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2025.

According to CAL FIRE, the incident was reported around 7 a.m. near Tollhouse and Newmark Roads.

Authorities stated that the excavator operator, identified as Jonathan S. of Los Banos, became trapped when the machine overturned and was pinned between the excavator and a boulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
