[04-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Elderly Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in San Gabriel

A 90-year-old pedestrian, identified as Qingyu L., was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the unincorporated East San Gabriel area of Los Angeles County on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. in the 9000 block of Southview Road near Jackson Place. The victim was struck in a driveway and pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released any additional details about the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
