[04-01-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – LAPD Bike Officer Injured in Crash Involving Suspected DUI Driver in Koreatown

According to authorities, a Los Angeles Police Department bicycle officer was injured in a collision in Koreatown involving a motorist who was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Friday, April 1, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles fire and police departments, paramedics were dispatched around 8:00 a.m. to the 900 block of South Ardmore Avenue.

They transported the officer to a hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.

The name of the driver was not disclosed right away.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
