A 38-year-old motorcyclist was injured in Valencia Park after a traffic incident, Friday night, April 15, 2022.
The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. in the 5200 block of Imperial Avenue, near the intersection with San Jacinto Drive, according to San Diego Police Department officials.
When the motorcyclist attempted to pass the 57-year-old driver of a 2016 Cadillac, he was attempting to turn left in the designated left-turn lane.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike after sideswiping the 57-year-old man’s vehicle.
The motorcyclist suffered a fractured femur, according to officials.
The San Diego Police Department is still investigating the accident.
