Two people, including a child, were hurt after a two-vehicle traffic crash at a Palm Springs intersection on Friday night, May 6, 2022.
The accident occurred in the area of Hovley Lane and Cook Street in Palm Desert at approximately 7:00 p.m.
Two unspecified vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. The trapped party sustained major injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
