The California Highway Patrol is investigating after an 18-year-old Sacramento man suffered multiple gunshot wounds at an Employment Development Department parking lot on Friday last month, April 22, 2022.
According to Sacramento Police and the CHP South Sacramento, around 11:30 a.m, they responded to a shooting in a parking lot on 2901 50th Street near Broadway.
According to authorities, the shooting did not involve or injure anyone from EDD.
Security at the EDD building discovered the man lying down with multiple gunshot wounds to his back. He was rushed to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
According to CHP, two men in black hoodies were seen running northbound from the EDD parking lot before fleeing in a yellow Chevrolet Impala.
