An 8-year-old was killed, while his sister and mother were injured after a suspected drunk driver plowed into them on their way home from Disneyland on Friday, May 13, 2022.
The crash occurred on a Friday afternoon in Walnut.
The crash killed 8-year-old Phillip R., 8, and injured his sister and mother.
Robert said his son Phillip and his 12-year-old daughter Zoya were driving home from Disneyland with mom this weekend when another driver allegedly crashed into their car.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department arrested that person for a possible DUI.
Robert claimed that his daughter had multiple surgeries and was placed in a medically induced coma. She is in the hospital recovering.
His wife is in a wheelchair due to a fractured pelvis.
The name of the driver accused of crashing into the family has not been released by the sheriff’s department.
