According to the authorities, an unidentified pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Lancaster Saturday, June 25, 2022.
The crash occurred at about 9:40 p.m. near Seventh Street East and Avenue I.
According to the Lancaster station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the car was described as a Honda or Nissan of unknown type.
The pedestrian was struck by a car traveling eastbound on Avenue I as he crossed the street near Seventh Street East without using a crosswalk.
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he was declared dead after the car fled the scene.
