[06-28-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Hit-And-Run Two-Vehicle Crash Left One Dead in Los AngelesAccording to the authorities, a hit-and-run two-vehicle collision killed one person in De Soto Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

According to LAPD, the crash occurred at midnight on Tuesday at the intersection of De Soto Street and Vanowen Street.

In response to a reported traffic accident, LAFD and LAPD arrived.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered a two-vehicle collision with several damaged power poles.

Firefighters discovered one victim at the scene who couldn’t be saved.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A male Hispanic driver, the second driver, fled the scene on foot and was last spotted traveling south on De Soto.

It is currently unknown what the victim’s age and gender are.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
