[07-03-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Two People Hospitalized After Single-Vehicle Crash on 14 Freeway in NewhallAccording to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a vehicle collided with the center median, veered off to the right shoulder and injured two people on 14 Freeway Sunday night, July 3, 2022.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11:09 p.m. on the Southbound 14 Freeway just north of the I-5 Freeway in the Newhall community of Santa Clarita.

The 14 Freeway’s center median was struck by a car that was reportedly a gray Toyota Yaris before it veered off to the right shoulder with significant front-end damage.

The driver and passenger were given medical attention for their wounds by paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, who then took them in unknown conditions to a nearby hospital in an AMR ambulance.

Before being transported, paramedics were seen treating the female passenger inside the car’s trunk.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol were on the scene looking into the collision.
