[06-28-2022] Fresno County, CA – Two People Injured After DUI Crash at Tulare Avenue

According to the Fresno Police Department, two people were hurt after a DUI driver crashed into a patrol unit in Fresno on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022.

The accident happened before 9:00 p.m. on Tulare Avenue and 4th Street in Fresno.

According to the authorities, the officer spoke with two people who had parked in front of the patrol car when a second vehicle struck the officer’s patrol car from behind while driving east on Tulare.

According to investigators, the impact of the collision caused the patrol car to strike the rear of the stopped vehicle.

The 36-year-old female driver of the car that struck the patrol car was under the influence of alcohol. She will receive a citation.

The two victims were taken to the hospital.
