A 30-year-old motorcycle rider identified as Freddy P. of Granada Hills died in a hit-and-run accident in Mission Hills on Sunday evening, July 17, 2022.
The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m. west of Sepulveda Boulevard.
The local authority declared the 30-year-old motorcyclist dead on the scene.
According to Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), without stopping, the truck continued traveling westbound on the San Diego (405) Freeway from west of Rinaldi Street.
It struck the biker in the westbound lanes of traffic west of Sepulveda Boulevard.
The truck was identified as a dark-colored, black, long-bed pickup.
