[08-25-2022] Alameda County, CA – A 35-year-old Pedestrian is Killed in a Hit-and-Run Accident Following a DUI Suspect’s Arrest in Oakland

A 35-year-old San Francisco resident was killed after a deadly hit-run accident involving a man suspected of DUI and drug possession in Oakland on Thursday afternoon, August 25, 2022.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. on the street at West MacArthur Boulevard and Piedmont Avenue as the vehicle traveling at high speed.

Unfortunately, they put the man in the hospital, passing away soon after.

According to the police, the pedestrian appeared to be in the designated crosswalk at the time of the collision.

Meanwhile, they had detained a 31-year-old man, Danniqua T., on suspicion of DUI and drug possession. They also claimed that he was speeding at the time.
