According to the authorities, a pedestrian was struck by vehicles twice and was critically injured in central Bakersfield Friday night, September 2, 2022.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian was severely struck at 9:43 p.m. on Brundage Lane near P Street and suffered significant injuries.
The man was admitted to a hospital and was in critical condition.
Investigators claim that the pedestrian was struck by a driver who fled the scene in a black car while he was outside of a crosswalk.
The pedestrian was then hit by an SUV’s driver. The second driver remained on the scene and assisted the authorities.
The inquiry is still ongoing. Police in Bakersfield is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 661-327-7111.
