An unidentified woman was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver near Grand and Gage Avenue on Monday morning, October 25.

The woman was walking north in the area when she was suddenly struck by a tractor-trailer that was turning right onto Gage from northbound Grand Avenue.

The driver did not stop to render aid and drove away from the scene. Unfortunately, the unidentified woman was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tractor-trailer is described to be the latest model, dark-colored cab with a possible business logo on the driver’s side door and seems to be white with obvious numbers or lettering on the front and sides.
