[02-10-2021] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Bicycle Accident in Dehesa

An unidentified 32-year-old man was killed after a deadly bicycle accident in Dehesa on Wednesday evening, February 10.

The accident transpired at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Willow Glen Drive just west of Dehesa Road.

The victim was reportedly riding his Electra Townie bicycle eastbound when an Infiniti QX60 SUV also heading eastbound suddenly struck the bicyclist.

Due to the severity of the collision, the bicyclist was ejected onto the roadway. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Infiniti driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the accident. They will attempt to determine the cause and the liability.
