[01-04-2026] Solano County, CA – One Killed, Another Seriously Injured in Crash on I-80 Near Redwood Parkway

A man was killed, and another person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Solano County on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near Redwood Parkway and involved a Honda Accord and a Toyota Prius.

The driver of the Honda Accord, a man in his 30s, died at the scene. The passenger of the Honda sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital. The driver of the Prius was also taken to a hospital as a precaution after complaining of pain.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
