[01-05-2024] Fresno County – Male Pedestrian Critically Injured Following Hit-and-Run Collision Along Shields Avenue

A male pedestrian was critically injured following a hit-and-run collision in Fresno on Friday morning, January 5, 2024.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the hit-and-run crash occurred along Shields and Wilson Avenues around 3:51 a.m.

Authorities found the victim lying on the road when they arrived at the scene. The patient was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The driver fled without aiding the victim or calling 911, and authorities have yet to identify the suspect.
