[01-19-2026] Orange County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Chapman Ave.

One person was killed, and another was injured following a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound Orange (57) Freeway in Orange on Monday morning, January 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m. near Chapman Avenue and involved as many as four vehicles.

Authorities reported that two people were transported to a hospital. One of the patients was later pronounced dead.

The investigation remains ongoing.
