Following a shocking road rage assault in a Richmond McDonald’s parking lot, police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the attacker who was captured on video on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
The attack occurred around 12:15 p.m. at the McDonald’s at 2301 MacDonald Avenue in Richmond.
It started when a woman in a car accused a mother towing two young sons of cutting in front of her in the drive-through line.
The situation quickly escalated, according to Amaro, within a minute or two.
The woman began screaming expletives at her before jumping out of her car and hurling water bottles at her vehicle. She then re-entered the vehicle and slammed into Amaro’s vehicle.
After the woman slammed into the car, the situation became even tenser.
According to Amaro and Richmond police detectives, the woman jumped out of the car and drove at the victim.
