A Los Angeles firefighter and three others were injured in a fire at an Encino apartment building on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
According to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire was reported on a Tuesday afternoon at a two-story apartment building near the Ventura (101) Freeway at 5130 N. Yarmouth Ave.
After suffering a non-life-threatening injury, a Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter was admitted to the hospital in fair condition.
According to an LAFD spokeswoman, three residents were hospitalized in fair condition with possible smoke inhalation: a 45-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and an 80-year-old woman.
There are no other details available.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
