One unidentified person was killed, while three others were injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Los Alamitos on Thursday evening, March 3, 2022.

Eight vehicles were involved in the collision. How the collision occurred and why it happened have not been established.

One man was killed in the crash along with his yellow Labrador Retriever. Two people were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. They were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.

An injured third party declined medical treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the collision is currently underway. Local authorities will determine the factors and the liability in the crash.
