[03-18-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Injured in Eight-Vehicle Crash in Van Nuys

Three people were injured due to a crash involving at least eight cars and one big rig on Friday, March 18, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol traffic log, the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the freeway’s southbound lanes near Victory Boulevard.

As crews worked to clear the lanes, traffic began to build up behind the incident.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Two people were taken to the hospital, one suffering from minor injuries and the other in an unknown condition.

Several lanes of the 405 Freeway in Van Nuys were closed due to the crash.
