[03-26-2023] Male Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle in Long BeachA male pedestrian was sent to the hospital in severe condition after being struck by a car in Long Beach on Sunday night, March 26, 2023.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the pedestrian crash occurred around 9:07 p.m. at the Second Street and East Pacific Coast Highway intersection near the Long Beach Marina.

The unidentified man was transported to a hospital by paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department. No further updates were available on his current state.

The motorist that hit the victim reportedly stayed on the scene following the crash. No information on the driver’s identity was released.

The investigation into the crash led to the closure of the busy intersection. No other details were immediately available.
