A 25-year-old man died in a hit-and-run accident in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Friday evening, May 12, 2023.

The Los Angeles Police Department said the incident occurred at approximately 11:14 p.m. at Vanowen Street and Vineland Avenue.

According to the report, the man was struck by a 57-year-old woman driving a vehicle while crossing Vanowen Street. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was found a few blocks away, but it is unclear if she was arrested or taken into custody. The incident is ongoing.
