[05-12-2026] Napa County, CA – Motorcycle Passenger Killed in Crash on Highway 12 East of Kelly Road

A motorcycle passenger was killed following a crash on Highway 12 in Napa County on Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:52 p.m. on Highway 12 east of Kelly Road.

Authorities stated that a motorcycle carrying a passenger was traveling eastbound while splitting lanes between two lanes of traffic when it collided with a black Honda traveling in the right lane.

Investigators said the motorcycle passenger was ejected into the roadway and was subsequently struck by another passing vehicle. The passenger sustained fatal injuries.

The drivers of the Honda and the additional vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
