[05-15-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two People Hospitalized After Pursuit Led to Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash in South Park

Two people were hospitalized after a pursuit led to a fiery two-vehicle crash in South Park, South Los Angeles, on Monday morning, May 15, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fiery crash happened early in the morning along Slauson Avenue near the 110 Freeway.

A stolen car was being pursued by police when it collided head-on with a BMW, which caught fire.

The BMW driver and its passenger were transported to a local hospital, where the severity of their injuries and current conditions remain unknown.

The driver of the stolen car was arrested and is now in the custody of the LAPD.
