[06-05-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rigs in Sylmar

One person was critically injured, and two others sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle crash involving two big rigs on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Sylmar, Los Angeles County, early Friday morning, June 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 1:48 a.m. near the Roxford Street exit on the eastbound lanes.

Initial reports indicated a vehicle was blocking the middle lanes, but first responders discovered a large-scale crash involving multiple vehicles, a victim trapped inside one of the big rigs, and a semi truck hanging over the freeway embankment.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel extricated the critically injured victim from the big rig and transported them to a hospital. Two additional victims were taken to hospitals in fair condition.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
