[06-18-2023] Kern County, CA – Fatal Shooting and Car Crash in Delano Leaves 27-Year-Old Man Dead and Another Injured

A 27-year-old man lost his life, and another individual suffered injuries following a fatal shooting and subsequent car crash in Delano on Sunday night, June 18, 2023.

According to the Delano Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. near West 13th Avenue and Concord Street.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered two men who had crashed their vehicle into a wall. Tragically, the driver, identified as 27-year-old Mario Moreno from Delano, succumbed to gunshot wounds.
