One individual was killed, while another was injured after a vehicle crashed on Artesia (91) Freeway in Cerritos on Sunday morning, June 18, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway near Bloomfield Avenue.
As per the report, a white Audi SUV crashed into an embankment on the highway’s right shoulder, leading to the death of one person and causing injuries to another occupant.
Emergency medical responders swiftly transported the injured person to a hospital, as confirmed by a dispatcher from the county fire department. The current condition of the individual remains unknown.
