[09-18-2022] 28-Year-Old Man Severely Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision in OceansideAccording to the authorities, a 28-year-old man was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Oceanside Sunday, September 18, 2022.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. between Redondo and Luna Drive.

While the police were investigating the hit-and-run accident, the area was cordoned off for several hours.

According to the reports of the local police, the victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where the severity of his injuries was rated as critical.

The authorities strongly suspect that the involved vehicle is a blue Ford Fusion manufactured between 2006 and 2009. The investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
