A 40-year-old construction worker was killed in an accident involving heavy machinery near Mission Bay in San Diego County on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024.
According to the county Medical Examiner’s Office, Cesar C. of San Diego was struck by an excavator at a construction site in the 1900 block of Morena Boulevard around 9:30 p.m.
Paramedics transported him to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
