Irvine Two-Vehicle Collision Statistics
Injuries are the main reason for a disproportionate number of hospitalizations. In car accidents, nearly two million people in the US suffer injuries annually.
Unfortunately, this type of tragedy occurs more frequently than usual in California. Around 200,000 people suffer injuries in car accidents each year in the US.
Orange County is one of the largest in the US, even though it is only the fourth most populous in California. This region ranks among the least safe in the nation for driving.
Drunk driving, distracted driving, excessive speeding, and other serious traffic law violations are significant causes of these accidents.
The knowledge that could have avoided most of these mishaps exacerbates injuries. According to estimates, drivers somehow distracted are to blame for 80% of traffic collisions.
