[11-28-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Driver Injured Following a Two-Vehicle Collision in I-805

A male driver was injured after a two-vehicle collision in San Diego on Monday morning, November 28, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on the bridge over Interstate 805.

The injured man was driving a pick-up truck with a trailer out of the traffic lane and onto a female driver who pulled onto the right shoulder on the bridge.

The male driver lost control and veered off further up the freeway. The truck flipped, causing the trailer to be jack-knifed.

The firefighters who responded to the scene had to extricate the female driver using the Jaws of Life. She was reportedly unharmed.

The pickup truck driver declined medical aid despite receiving facial injuries, while his male passenger was also unharmed.
