[10-21-2022] Kern County, CA – Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Bakersfield Kills Pedestrian

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run car accident in Bakersfield on Friday, October 21, 2022.

The crash occurred around 8:13 p.m. at the intersection of South H and Belle Terrace.

The Bakersfield Fire Department responded after the victim was initially reported down on the ground after being hit by an older model Yukon at the intersection of South H and Belle Terrace.

First responders attempted to save the victim’s life by performing CPR, but despite their best efforts, the victim passed away due to the collision’s injuries.

The Bakersfield Police Department is still investigating the crash.
