[12-16-2022] Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 94 Leaves One InjuredAuthorities reported a two-vehicle collision that injured one driver in San Diego on Tuesday morning, December 16, 2022.

Reports confirmed that the crash transpired around 8:00 a.m. off state Route 94.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Lexus sedan was heading westbound on SR-94 at the interchange with Interstate 805 when it slid off the embankment.

The Lexus driver rear-ended a Toyota Scion, causing the Lexus driver to lose control and drift off the motorway, which caused the car to rest on a road leading to the ABC 10 News station.

Paramedics were dispatched to the location to remove the driver from the Lexus.

The 22-year-old Lexus driver was rushed to the hospital after complaining of pain.

Meanwhile, the Scion driver was unharmed.

DUI is not suspected to be a cause of the collision.
