[02-10-2024] Fresno County, CA – Bicyclist Sustained Major Injuries After Being Struck By Hit-and-Run Vehicle at Clinton Avenue

A bicyclist sustained major injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Central Fresno on Saturday night, February 10, 2024.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision happened around 10:00 p.m. at Clinton Avenue and Van Ness Boulevard.

Authorities responded to the scene and found the victim lying near the sidewalk. The victim, in his 30s, was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Police stated that witnesses provided officers with information that a dark-colored vehicle had left the scene and gone eastbound on Clinton towards Wishon Avenue following the incident.

Authorities were searching for surveillance video and any additional evidence to determine the identity of the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police at 559-621-7000.
