One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of Los Angeles on Monday morning, August 25, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at around 8:50 a.m. at 458 W. Florence Avenue.
Fire crews arrived to find one victim deceased at the scene. The body was freed from the wreckage before medical examiner personnel arrived. The second person involved in the collision was in fair condition and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
