Two pedestrians were critically injured, and four others sustained minor injuries in a crash on South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2026.
According to police and fire officials, the crash occurred at 22nd Street and South Van Ness Avenue when a car struck two pedestrians and also collided with another vehicle.
Fire Department Assistant Chief Bill Storti confirmed that six people were transported to the hospital. The two pedestrians were taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, while two people from each vehicle were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
