[04-23-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Two Pedestrians Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle in San Jose

Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Thursday evening, April 23, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, officers responded at around 7:24 p.m. in the 2300 block of Carlton Avenue.

Both pedestrians were initially transported to a hospital in critical condition, but later reports indicated that their injuries were not life-threatening.

The driver involved in the crash was taken into custody. Authorities have not released additional details about the motorist.

The incident remains under investigation.
