A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a collision with a car near Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday afternoon, September 2, 2026.

According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the crash occurred on Foothill Boulevard between California Boulevard and Casa Street around 1:13 p.m.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, while the occupants of the car were taken to a hospital to be evaluated. Additional information about their conditions was not immediately available.
