[10-22-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Woman Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Arden Arcade

A 62-year-old woman, identified as Valentina R., was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Arden Arcade, Sacramento County, on Thursday evening, October 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 6:46 p.m. in the 2900 block of Eastern Avenue near Marconi Avenue.

Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District personnel responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Investigators did not suspect the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The incident remains under investigation.
