[10-24-2026] Napa County, CA – Five People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 121

A driver sustained major injuries, and four others reported pain or minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision in Napa County on Saturday morning, October 24, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol traffic logs, the crash was reported at around 9:20 a.m. on Highway 121, just south of Highway 29.

CHP Officer Marc Renspurger said a Toyota Prius driver was attempting a U-turn south of Old Sonoma Road when the car collided with an SUV.

The Prius driver, who was alone, was partially ejected during the collision and airlifted by helicopter to a local hospital with major injuries. Four SUV occupants, including two children, reported pain or sustained minor injuries.

Investigators had found no initial indication that speeding or impairment contributed to the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
