DUI accidents can cause severe harm to people who are not even on the road, including those on sidewalks or nearby. Anyone hurt in a crash where a driver is suspected of impairment may benefit from legal guidance to understand their rights and the options open to them.

DUI accident victim lawyers can review law enforcement reports, track the progress of any related criminal case, and explain how a civil injury claim is separate from criminal charges. They can also gather medical records and help injured people pursue compensation for hospital bills, ongoing treatment, pain and suffering, and other damages where applicable.
