At least one person was killed in a crash involving a work truck, a sedan, and possibly a pickup on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Carson on Monday morning, June 6, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:20 a.m. on the northbound San Diego Freeway at Wilmington Avenue.
According to witnesses, the work truck and sedan were blocking the HOV lane, and another truck was pulled over at the Wilmington Avenue exit.
One person was lying on the ground, according to a witness.
According to the CHP, drywall and debris were strewn hundreds of feet into lanes.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
