[09-05-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - 60-Year-Old Pedestrian was Killed after a Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident in NorthridgeA 60-year-old man was struck and killed after a fatal hit-and-run accident in Northridge Monday evening, September 5, 2022.

According to the LAPD, the accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Nordhoff Street near Wilbur Avenue.

The vehicle involved was a gray colored Dodge Charger, according to the local authorities. The car was traveling westbound on Nordhoff Street towards Wilbur Avenue when it collided with the pedestrian on Nordhoff Street.

The Dodge Charger made a U-turn and started heading eastbound on Nordhoff Street, away from the scene of the collision, immediately after the crash, according to the police.

The driver was not identified in any way. For assistance in solving a fatal hit-and-run, Los Angeles has set up a standing reward of up to $50,000.
