[02-09-2021] Kern County, CA – One Person Injured After a Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident in Kern Canyon Road

An unidentified pedestrian was injured after getting hit by a passing vehicle in Bakersfield on Tuesday evening, February 9.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the accident took place on Kern Canyon Road at Shalane Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.

Authorities found the pedestrian lying on the roadway after the accident. The severity of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed.
